 Over the past week I have learned to be consistent in writing every day. I have also learned how to analyze texts from different points of view. Over the rest of the course, I anticipate how to better my writing skills, learning how to depict certain details in my writing. I also anticipate the challenge of staying consistent throughout the course, meaning getting my blogs done everyday and completing various assignments on time.

Summary: Today in class we took a quiz on an origin myth. The quiz was 14 multiple choice questions and I got an 86 on the quiz.

Reflection: I am happy with my score on the quiz. I am continuing to learn more about origin myths which I think is very interesting.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
