Prompt: Describe something you will never fully understand.

 Something I will never fully understand is the grace of God. Despite our disobedience he continues to love us and care for us. He loved and cared for us so much that he sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to endure hours of pain and die for us on the cross while we were still sinners. God's love is so beautiful and true, unlike any other love. His grace is amazing and unfathomable towards us all.

Summary: Today in class we presented our origin myths posters. Everyone did well and had good presentations.

Reflection: I learned about other people's creativity and how different people made their own origin myths. It's amazing how everyone has a different imagination.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
