Prompt: Write about something that you wish you had more of.

 Something that I wish I had more of is patience. Often times I get impatient with certain things. Over time my patience has grown but it is still not at the level that I want it to be. The reason for my growth in patience is the Lord Jesus. Anytime I'm being impatient I remember that the Lord is working at his place, not mine. I always remind myself that the Lord is always working, even if it takes a while, his will is better than mine.

Summary: Today in class we worked on finishing our origin myths as well as our origin myths posters. It was a great, easy day.

Reflection: Today I reflected on how to grow my patience. I also doubled checked my origin myth and poster, which helped me better analyze and fix issues in my writing and work.

  The best gift I have ever received is the gift of salvation. I am thankful every day for the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus. He has changed my life for the better ever since I received him. This gift stands tallest among any other gift I have ever received. I am very thankful and wouldn't give this gift of salvation up for anything. Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
