     I would love to go fly fishing in Alaska. Alaska is such a beautiful place with so many amazing, beautiful fish. I love fishing and mountains so Alaska would be an amazing trip. Although I have never been fly fishing, I am going this fall to my neighbor's river house in North Carolina and I can't wait. 

Summary: Today in class we took the vocabulary lesson 1 quiz. All of the answers were a and it was very easy.

Reflection: I learned that when you see a pattern, stick with it. During today's quiz I saw a pattern where all the answers were a, so I stuck with it and it went well for me.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
