 I really liked Davyon's Poem. The way he presented really caught my ear and eye. His confidence and tone while speaking is something I look up to. In the poem itself, It was well put together and written very well. He had great themes and uses of images.

Summary: Today in class we presented our poems. I got 3rd and received a assignment coupon.

Reflection: I got better at presenting In front of others. Public speaking is a skill that I want to get good at and I am glad that we got to work on it.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
