Imagine you are learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the very first time. What would you be curious to know about the traditions, foods, music, or celebrations?

If I was learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage,  I would be curious to know the history of their foods. I want to know how the food relates to their culture. I would also love to know the history of their music as I really enjoy it and think it is very impressive. Along with all of this I would like to know more about the history of the languages they speak.

Summary: Today we took notes about planning before an essay. I learned how important planning really is.

Reflection: I learned how to better use my planning time. I also learned how to better effectively brainstorm.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
