Prompt: As you grow older and face new experiences, what issue or topic do you think you'll have to stand up and debate most often, whether with friends, family, or society?

 When I grow older and face new experiences I'll probably have to debate my faith the most. It is the most important thing in my life and I can see that being an issue for other people. I am prepared for this battle though, for I know that the testing of my faith produces perseverance. I know that standing up for my faith will be worth the battle.

Summary: Today in class we finished learning about pathos, ethos and logos. We also learned about claims.

Reflection: I bettered my knowledge on different types of claims. I learned how to differ the different types of claims.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
