Prompt: Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

There have been many times I have been judged unfairly due to my faith. People have and continue to make fun of my faith and make hateful comments towards me about it. This doesn't bother me at all though. I know that being hated is part of the cost that comes with the great reward of walking with Christ. This unfair judgement that I receive only pushes me to do better.

Summary: Today in class we read a commonlit and answered questions. It was fairly easy.

Reflection: I bettered my reading comprehension skills.

  The best gift I have ever received is the gift of salvation. I am thankful every day for the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus. He has changed my life for the better ever since I received him. This gift stands tallest among any other gift I have ever received. I am very thankful and wouldn't give this gift of salvation up for anything. Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
