Prompt: Write about what you did over the Fall Break. 10/20

 Over the Fall Break, I hung out with friends and went camping. It was such amazing weather for camping. The leaves were turning red, yellow. and orange. I also went fishing a lot over the break and had one of my best fishing days yet. I caught 10 fish including a 5 pounder. Overall, I had a great fall break and I am very thankful that I got to spend as much time as I did in the Lord's great creation.

Summary: Today we worked on our vocabulary comic strips.

Reflection: I bettered my vocab and creativity skills.

  The best gift I have ever received is the gift of salvation. I am thankful every day for the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus. He has changed my life for the better ever since I received him. This gift stands tallest among any other gift I have ever received. I am very thankful and wouldn't give this gift of salvation up for anything. Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
