 Every meal that my grandma cooks is unforgettable. The classic Appalachian cooking is unbelievably good and never gets old. Every moment I have with my grandparents is precious. Though I can't name one particular meal, I know that every meal I have with my grandparents is idyllic.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
