 When I first heard about Jesus and who he was, it changed my perception of life. I found a purpose in life and I now know the true meaning. This changed my life for the better and I began to live my life as a Christian. I still struggle today but getting to know the Lord has been the best plot twist in my life.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
