 I am very proud of my Appalachian heritage. Both sides of my family currently live in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia. I love everything about those mountains. From the culture, including food and music, to the scenery, everything about the Appalachian Mountains I love. 

Summary: I was not here today.

Reflection: I learned how to better reflect on my own cultural identity and heritage.

 Neither of my parents have been very strict when it comes to discipline. They have taught me the difference between right and wrong and have not punished me much when I have done wrong. Their approach has taught me a lot and I appreciate the way they have raised me. I've learned how to deal with my mistakes and this has greatly pushed me to be better.
