 The holidays have changed a Lot as I’ve grown older. The reality of the hardship that many people feel during the holidays has set in. Although the holidays aren’t as bright and special to me as they used to be, I still think it’s a fun time of year.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
