 A vocabulary word that resonates with my personality is anecdote. My Grandpa always tells me anecdotes about his life and what he has learned in life. These short stories that he has told have stuck with me and I have learned a lot from them. These stories have had an influence on who I am and my personality.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
