Throughout high school I have learned more how to better my academic rigor. I have seen many improvements in my work quality this year. I turn my work in on time for as many assignments as I can. These skills will help me in college and in the workforce.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
