 The film version of Chris McCandless makes me think that Chris's choices were more justified than they seem. The film was able to visually express the joy and freedom that Chris felt during his journey. Overall, the Chris in the film and the Chris in the book are much different.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
