 When doing research in school, I have done well and enjoyed it. I found it is easy to research in a group and independently. Previously however, in middle school I often didn't contribute much to projects. This experience has influenced me to work harder in groups.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
