 The most challenging part of the annotated bibliography was summarizing the documents. This was difficult because there was a lot of info to pack in. This challenge helped me grow as a reader in learner because it helped me overcome something I thought was difficult.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints.
