 While my group was selecting and analyzing sources, we had trouble choosing whose source we are going to use. This required us to look deep into each individual source to find the best fit. Everyone in my group read each other's sources and decided which are best.

Summary: Today we worked on our research project.

Reflection: I bettered my researching skills.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

When I was young, my parents forbade me from riding my bike out of the neighborhood. They did this because they were fearful of the busy roads outside of our neighborhood. They also worried about the danger of me being a little kid riding around. Although they had set this rule, I rarely followed it. Summary: Today we worked on our PowerPoints. Reflection: I learned how to better analyze quotations from a text.
